Eligibility Criteria Details
Education Qualification
Postal Assistant and Sorting Assistant
- The Candidate must have passed 12th standard or equivalent examination from a recognized university or Board of School education or Board of Secondary Education
Postman
- The Candidate must have passed 12th standard or equivalent examination from a recognized university or Board of School education or Board of Secondary Education
- Knowledge of Local Language - Assamese / Bengali / Bodo. The candidate should have studied local language as a subject at least up to 10th standard
Multi Tasking Staff (MTS)
- Candidates must pass minimum 10th Standard from a recognized Board.
- Knowledge of Local Language - Assamese / Bengali / Bodo. The candidate should have studied local language as a subject at least up to 10th standard
Sports Eligibility:
- Eligibility as on the last date of receipt of application

Age Limit
- PA / SA, Postman: 18 years to 27 years
- MTS: 18 years to 25 years
Application Fee

Probation & Training
Probation: Selected candidates will be appointed and will be on probation for a period of 2 years
Training: Training will be imparted to the candidates selected as prescribed by the DOP
Pay Scale
- Postal Assistant / Sorting Assistant: Rs 25,500 to Rs 81,100/- in level-4 as per pay matrix
- Postman: Rs 21,700/- to Rs 69,100 in level-3 as per pay matrix
- MTS: Rs 18,000/- to Rs 56,900 in level-1
Selection Procedure
- Candidates will be selected based on the educational and sports qualification
